The infuriating hold music, endless phone tag, and the unreturned voicemails - it adds so much unnecessary stress to an already difficult time. We’re driven by the mission to build the healthcare experience we and our loved ones wish existed.
Parakeet Health is on a mission to improve the patient experience at your doctor’s office. We're a team of Cal Grads (EECS ‘14) building incredibly human-like voice agents that answers the phones and makes calls for medical practices. Our agents schedule appointments, refill prescriptions, scans faxes, and answer questions 24/7 via phone and SMS. We’re working with 300+ primary care, dermatology, and mental health clinics across the country.

We are a team of 8 seasoned technologists (Stripe, Google, Microsoft, Twitter, Uber) and healthcare veterans (One Medical, Epocrates) who are applying gen AI to enable more affordable, effective, and enjoyable care through technology. We’re working in-person out of our Downtown San Francisco Office (right by Mongtomery BART).
We are venture backed by VCs including Canvas Ventures (investors in Doximity, Superhuman, Upwork), CoFound Partners, and StoryHouse Ventures. Our angel investors include the founder of One Medical/Galileo, former CTO of Twitter, and co-founder of Tend Dental.
